How can we see the cleaning robot Xiaomi IMILAB V1 It has a classic design where in the upper part we find the turret for the mapping system laser LiDAR. We have two buttons in the front area, one to send it to the charging base and another to start or stop. In the front area we have a bumper that protects and detects blows when working at home. In this front part we also find the sensors to locate the charging point and this time there are no integrated video cameras.

Inside option Map we can make modifications, limit cleaning areas, block rooms, combine them or list in what order we want the total or partial cleaning to be carried out. It seems that we can only save a cleaning plant map, it is possible to reset it from the system settings.
In the menu icon with three points we have multiple options, we can manage the system carpet detection if we have rough surfaces in our home to work on them in a specific way. We can also activate the location management to configure each room to our liking.
It is also possible to view the cleaning history or change the robot voice although we only have english or chinese. We also have the option of entering the robot programming settings so that the system starts up automatically, we can also access the map management, the remote control or activate do not disturb mode.
CLEANING, AUTONOMY AND NOISE TEST
We carried out tests with the robot using it for several days in the usual tasks at home and the Xiaomi IMILAB V1 offers us good results and it maintains the cleaning in an adequate way within what is a cleaning robot of this type. Using the normal mode on a floor where the cleaning area is 60 m² takes about 1 hour to complete the entire route, although the first time may be slower.
